Also in 2024, the event has been characterized by a large participation in attendance, and demonstrates the desire of the technical-scientific community to return to live events and conferences, to establish new collaborations, partnerships, and connections. The conference has been held in the traditional venue, the Renaissance Cloister by Sangallo at the Faculty of Civil and Industrial Engineering of Sapienza University of Rome, well-equipped to allow the streaming connection from all the conference rooms.

In conclusion, NanoInnovation 2024 can acknowledge 2.002 registered participants, of which 1.763 attended the conference on site, and around 240 participated remotely.
The organizers are really proud of the achieved figures, which confirm that - despite the very unusual social situation affected by the combined effects of war - the technical-scientific community belonging to nanotechnology is actively working to realize and exploit new research activities, applications and innovations, and is still strictly connected thanks to the modern communication tools that can help to support the scientific discussion.
